'Miracle' Icon Seeping Oil at a Church in
Homer Glen, Illinois

Since July 2015, fragrant oil has been seeping from an icon of St. John the Baptist at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Homer Glen, Illinois.  The parish priest collects the oil once a week, saturates cotton balls with the oil and then places them in plastic bags for parishioners and pilgrims to take home and share with their families and friends. So far, over 5,000 samples have been handed out.
